Below are some excerpts from the manual:

3. Threaded Connections

3.1 Dipped Threaded Connections

The components may have threaded connections that have been treated with lubricant (dipped threaded connection). Galvanized bolts and nuts are wax dipped in the factory. Black annealed and phosphatised bolts and nuts are oil dipped.

The use of lubricant during tightening of the threaded connection reduces friction and helps achieve the specified pre-tension accurately and easily. To ensure a small spread in pre-tension force, always use a reliable torque wrench with high accuracy.

Note: Regularly inspect and calibrate torque wrenches.

When reusing nuts and bolts, thoroughly clean the threads and apply one drop of lubricant to the first turn of the screw thread and the contact surface of the nut or bolt. Do not use any lubricants other than engine oil, as they have different friction coefficients.

Locking compounds can also be used for dipped threaded connections, but do not apply lubricant to the first turn of the screw thread in this case. The use of locking compounds in combination with dipped bolts and nuts does not cause any problems.

4.1 Disassembly and Assembly, Air Compressor Drive Gear

Disassembly, air compressor drive gear:

1. Remove the air compressor.

2. Use a filter belt with a textile or leather band to prevent the air compressor shaft from turning and loosen the central attachment nut.

3. Remove the central attachment nut.

4. Use a puller to remove the drive gear.

Assembly, air compressor drive gear:

1. Thoroughly clean the parts to be assembled, ensuring the contact surfaces are free from grease.

2. Inspect the parts for damage and replace if necessary.

3. Fit the drive gear to the air compressor shaft.

4. Use the filter belt to hold the air compressor gear in place and tighten the central attachment nut to the specified torque.

5. Fit the air compressor.
