Fuel Filler
The fuel filler cap is equipped with two valves that serve the following purposes if the multi-function valve fails:
- Ventilate the tank if a vacuum is created
- Bleed fuel fumes if excessive pressure is created in the tank.

Tank ventilation
If a vacuum exceeding a pre-set threshold is created in the tank, it operates plate (1) and opens the round sections between plate (1) and seal (3).

Fuel fume bleeding
When the pressure of fuel fumes on plate (4) exceeds a pre-set value, a round section is opened between plate (4) and seal (3).

Fuel Pump
This pump has a plastic impeller designed for both petrol with and without ethylene. Inside the tank, there is a no-return valve (3) and an overpressure valve set to 2.6 bar (2). The pump is powered directly by the ECU and has the following functions:
- Stops operation if the engine ratio falls below a pre-set threshold
- Times its operation for 15 seconds when the key is turned to MAR
- Enables operation during movement or when the engine is running.

Operation
A steel ball (1) is held in place by a magnet in a conical seat (2). Under specific acceleration loads, the ball is freed from the magnetic attraction and moves upward out of its conical seat, activating a fast release mechanism (3). This mechanism creates a normally closed (NC) electric circuit.
When hit by the ball, the NC circuit changes to normally open (NO), cutting off the fuel pump earth circuit. The inertia switch can be reset by pressing the button under the flexible guard (4).
Note: If you smell fuel after a crash or notice leaks in the fuel feed system, do not reset the inertia switch. Investigate and fix the issue before resetting the switch to avoid the risk of fire.

Operation
When the engine is off, the sensor membrane bends according to atmospheric pressure. When the key is inserted, it provides the ECU with information about the altitude. When the engine is started, the vacuum in the intake manifold bends the membrane, changing its resistance and providing the ECU with initial data about the amount of intake air. This sensor is powered at a constant voltage (5 Volt) by the ECU, and the varying resistance produces a corresponding output voltage.
