About Ford New Holland:
New Holland, established in 1895, initially focused on farm implements and later achieved success with automatic hay balers. Acquired by Ford Tractor Operations in 1985, the company transitioned to the Ford New Holland name on tractors. In 1990, a majority interest in its farm machinery operations was sold to FIAT, leading to the adoption of the New Holland and FIAT names in different markets. The merger of Case IH and FIAT New Holland in 1999 resulted in the formation of CNH Global (Case New Holland), which continues to produce tractors under the New Holland brand. New Holland manufactures both agricultural farm equipment and heavy construction equipment, including backhoes, skid steer loaders, excavators, mini excavators, and wheel loaders. The excavator models covered in this service workshop repair manual are E130.
