The 1 MZFE engine features 6 cylinders in a V arrangement at a bank angle of 60. Cylinders are numbered 135 on the RH bank and 246 on the LH bank. The crankshaft is supported by 4 bearings made of copper and lead alloy inside the crankcase.
The crankshaft is integrated with 9 semi counterweights for balance. Oil holes are located in the center of the crankshaft to supply oil to the connecting rods, bearings, pistons, and other components.
